To take the EPA exam on a computer, you must use Safe Exam Browser. This locks your device during the test.
Follow the steps below:
• Go to https://skillcat.app/my/ and log into your account
• Click Home
• Click View More
• In the search bar type EPA 608
• Select EPA 608 Universal Certificate (or your exam type)
• Open the EPA Universal Exam
• Next, is to upload your ID for verification. Click Upload from Computer
• Upload your photo ID
• Click Submit Photo ID
• Confirm the submission
• Now, click Download Safe Exam Browser. This will redirect you to a new page
• Choose the correct version for your device (Windows or Mac)
• Open the downloaded file and complete the installation
• Return to the SkillCat page by clicking the back button.
• Click Download Configuration.
• Once the configuration is downloaded after that click Launch Safe Exam Browser
The secure exam window will open and you will be prompted to log in again.
Your computer will now be locked into exam mode and you won’t be able to open other tabs or apps during the test.
After finishing the exam:
• Click the exit/power button inside the exam window
• Close Safe Exam Browser
• Your computer will return to normal
If nothing happens when launching, make sure the browser finished installing and try again.
