🪪 1. Step 1: ID Verification
Once you pass the NATE Ready to Work exam, our SkillCat team first verifies the photo ID you submitted during the test.
This step ensures your certificate is issued under the correct name and details.
Verification is usually completed within 1-2 business days.
📧 2. Step 2: SkillCat Email Confirmation
After your ID is verified, you’ll receive an email from SkillCat confirming that your exam results have been validated and submitted to NATE.
Keep an eye on your inbox (and spam folder, just in case) for this update.
📅 3. Step 3: When NATE Sends Your Certificate
NATE issues and emails certificates every Monday.
Once we send your verified information to NATE, they’ll process it and email you your official NATE Ready to Work Certificate directly.
🕓 All you need to do after passing the exam is wait until Monday!
⏳ 4. If You Tested on Sunday or Monday
If you took your exam on Sunday or Monday, your certificate will arrive the following Monday.
This is because your ID verification and submission may miss that week’s processing window with NATE.
So don’t worry if it takes a few extra days — your certificate is on its way!
