1. Support & Contact Information

Who should customers contact for support?

Customers should reach out to [email protected] for all questions related to their membership, platform access, billing, training, or transition from NexTech to SkillCat.


2. Products & Services

Will NexTech Academy products and services change?

For now, everything remains the same. Customers will continue accessing the same materials during the transition. SkillCat will be working behind the scenes to improve and enhance learning experiences.

How will SkillCat support workforce development needs?

SkillCat’s Sales and Customer Success teams will support members with all training, onboarding, and workforce development needs. We will keep services uninterrupted during the transition.

How will coaching and implementation be handled?

SkillCat’s Customer Success Team will now support coaching-related questions. They are responsible for helping organizations train their teams, adopt learning paths, and troubleshoot issues.


3. Training Leaders & Enrollment

How do Training Leaders enroll their learners?

Enrollment remains the same. They should follow the same steps we have always used.

Will Training Leaders still be able to track progress and approve assessments?

Yes. Tracking and approval workflows remain unchanged. Training Leaders can continue monitoring learner progress just as before.

Should a Training Leader wait to enroll a new NexTech Builder learner?

No. They should continue adding learners normally. The service remains uninterrupted.

Do NexTech members automatically get access to SkillCat?

No. Members need to reach out to [email protected] or fill out the SkillCat demo form to learn more about SkillCat’s LMS, features, and course offerings.


4. Billing

How will billing change?

Starting December 1, 2025, customer billing will migrate to SkillCat’s billing system. Charges will appear through Stripe.

Customers should be directed to [email protected] for billing-related questions.

Will pricing change?

No. Pricing will remain the same at this time.

Is this transition an additional cost?

No. There are no additional costs for members due to this transition.

Will Training Leader packages continue?

Yes. These packages will continue to be offered.


5. Access & Resources

Where are the NexTech YouTube videos?

NexTech’s video library is being migrated into the SkillCat app. Customers will receive an update as soon as the content is available.

When will NexTech YouTube videos be available again?

In the coming weeks. Customers should watch for updates from [email protected].

Will Select Bundles continue?

Yes, all Select bundles will continue.

Can companies use SkillCat for employees not enrolled in NexTech Academy?

Yes. They should reach out to [email protected] for information or schedule a SkillCat demo.

Will training paths stay the same?

Yes. Certified training paths and hours requirements will remain unchanged.


6. Access for Past Members & Private Equity Groups

Will NTA be available for past members or Buyer Group members?

Yes — however, proprietary Nexstar content (like Service System lessons) will be removed.

Private Equity groups leaving Nexstar membership will not have access to Nexstar-proprietary training.


7. Transition Timeline & Platform Migration

When will all members fully transition to SkillCat?

The estimated target is mid-2026. Any changes to the timeline will be communicated.

What does the SkillCat partnership mean for coaches?

SkillCat’s Customer Success Managers will take over support. The team will continue meeting member needs and helping with adoption.


8. Content

Does SkillCat offer content for warehouse or parts employees?

Customers should reach out to [email protected] for detailed course offerings.

What SkillCat content will NexTech customers receive?

SkillCat is able to provide a full course catalog upon request. Customers should email [email protected].
