Important: OSHA Is Not Included in Company Seats
OSHA access is purchased individually.
Employees will need to pay for their OSHA course themselves, and companies typically reimburse the cost after completion.
Desktop-Only Access
OSHA courses can ONLY be accessed on a desktop or laptop.
They will not open on:
The SkillCat mobile app
A mobile browser
Step-by-Step Guide for Company Admins/Managers
Have Your Employee Log Into SkillCat on a Desktop: Ask your employee to open https://skillcat.app/ on a desktop or laptop and log in with their SkillCat account (the same email listed on your company dashboard).
Employee Searches for OSHA: They can use the search bar at the top of the Home page and enter “OSHA”. (You may share this video with them if needed: How to search courses on the SkillCat App - YouTube)
Employee Selects OSHA and Makes Payment: When they click the OSHA course, they’ll see a paywall. They must:
Enter payment details
Complete the purchase,
And the course will unlock instantly.
💡 Tip: Companies typically reimburse employees after payment is completed. We strongly recommend this approach.
Employee Can Start OSHA Immediately
Once payment is successful, your employee will have full access to their OSHA training.
They must complete it on desktop only.
A ClickSafety training window will open when they begin the course.
What You Should Do as the Admin
Keep track of which employees need OSHA.
Remind them that they must pay themselves first.
Reimburse them according to your company’s internal policy.
Ensure they log into SkillCat using their company-associated email.
Troubleshooting for Employees
If an employee says they can’t access OSHA, check these first:
Are they using a desktop or laptop?
(Mobile access is fully blocked.)
Did they pay for the OSHA course?
Check with the employee if payment was completed.
Are they logged into SkillCat with the correct company-linked email?
If they accidentally use a personal email, but paid using company email then their OSHA will not appear in your dashboard records.
Have they allowed pop-ups?
OSHA-10 requires a pop up on a browser. Here is how to allow the popup if you have issues.
If they still face issues, email [email protected] and we’ll help.
Summary
For OSHA training in SkillCat:
Employees pay → Company reimburses
OSHA is desktop only
Admins cannot assign OSHA directly — employees unlock it through payment
