If your employee’s completed course is visible on their app but missing from your SkillCat dashboard, this usually means either:

  • They used a personal account to complete training (not the one assigned to your company dashboard), or

  • You are viewing a different learning plan from the one they completed.

Below are step-by-step solutions for both scenarios.

Scenario 1: Employee Used a Personal Account

Employees may inadvertently use their personal email and SkillCat account for training, rather than their assigned company account. Here’s how to check:

How to Confirm Account Email

  1. Open the SkillCat App on the employee’s device.

  2. On the Home tab, tap the gear icon (top right) to open settings.

What to Look For

  • If the email in their app matches the email on your company dashboard: Skip to Scenario 2 below.

  • If the email is different: The employee completed training on a personal account. To resolve:

    • Log out of the SkillCat app

    • Log in with the company-provided email (the email that appears on your dashboard)

    • Complete or re-do the training if needed

Scenario 2: Viewing the Incorrect Learning Plan

Sometimes, you may be checking a different learning plan than the one your employee completed.

How to Check All Learning Plans and Progress

  1. Log into your SkillCat Dashboard using your company credentials.

  2. Click Go to Training Dashboard.

  3. Click View Employees.

  4. Use the search bar or scroll to locate the employee.

  5. Next to the employee’s name, click the down arrow to view all assigned learning plans.

  6. Select each learning plan to view individual course and progress details (the progress will display on the right).

Final Notes

  • Make sure your team completes courses using the company-provided email/account.

  • Double-check all learning plans assigned to an employee when tracking progress.

  • If issues persist after these steps, please contact [email protected] for assistance.

Using these steps helps ensure all employee training activity is accurately reflected for company records and compliance tracking.
