What Do You Need to Do?
You will watch a learner do a skill and fill out a checklist in the LMS to give them feedback.
Step 1: Check Your Dashboard
Step 2: Open the Checklist
Click on the learner's checklist.
You'll see three sections to fill out:
Step 3: Confirm You Understand the Task
This is Section 1: Reviewer Acknowledgment
Read the full skill assessment for this task.
Read the scoring guide so you know what to look for.
When you understand what you're supposed to do, click "Yes".
Step 4: Score How They Did the Task
This is Section 2: Task Execution
You will answer 2 questions:
Question 1: Did they do the task correctly?
Watch them do the skill.
Did they follow the right steps?
Did they do it the right way?
In the box, write comments telling them what you saw.
Click "Yes" if they did it well, or "No" if they need to try again.
Question 2: Did they do it on their own?
Did they need you to help them a lot, or did they figure things out themselves?
Did they solve problems without asking for help?
In the box, write comments about what you noticed.
Click "Yes" if they worked independently, or "No" if they needed too much help.
Step 5: Give a Star Rating for Customer Skills
This is Section 3: Five-Star Skills
This is about the skills that make customers happy and give 5-star reviews.
What to Look For:
Did they show all the skills a good technician needs?
Were they professional?
Did they solve problems well?
Did they go above and beyond for the customer?
Give a Rating:
Pick a rating from 1 star (needs work) to 5 stars (excellent).
Write comments explaining your rating and what they did well or what they can improve.
Use This to Help Them Grow
This section is flexible and meant to coach them, not just grade them.
Use your comments to encourage better skills.
Step 6: Add Any Final Comments
Step 7: Post the Results
Once you've filled out all three sections, click "Pass" or "Fail".
Then click on "Submit Review"
They will see:
Whether they passed or not
All your comments
Your star rating
Step 8: Follow Up With Them
If they didn't pass: Meet with them and explain what they need to improve. Help them get ready to try again.
If they passed: Congratulate them and use your five-star comments to help them keep getting better.
Things to Remember
Read the skill assessment guide before you watch them.
Write specific comments—tell them what they did well and what they can improve.
Use the five-star section to teach them what excellence looks like.
Make sure they actually do the skill while you're watching—don't grade from memory.
You can do this on a computer, tablet, or phone—you don't need paper!
Send results quickly so they can read your feedback.
