Why Announce SkillCat

Your techs are more likely to use SkillCat when they hear directly from you. A clear, confident announcement sets the tone: this training matters, it’s supported by the company, and it will help them grow.

How to Announce SkillCat

  1. Pick the Right Moment

    • Announce during a team huddle, meeting, email or wherever you feel is best. Multiple announcements before they are invited is best.

  2. Keep It Simple

    • Focus on what’s in it for them: free training, certifications, and tools that help on the job.

  3. Show Support

    • Make it clear whether this is optional or not. Be clear this is company-backed training designed to make their jobs easier and open up future opportunities.

  4. Set Clear Next Steps

    • Let everyone know to wait for an invitation to get strarted

    • Provide the date they'll be added

    • Let them know you’ll be checking in on progress and celebrating certifications.
