What will I See When I Log In for the First Time (EPA Dashboard)?

Once your company admin has added you to the EPA dashboard, you'll receive a welcome email from [email protected] with instructions to set up your account. Here's what to expect after you log in for the first time.

Step 1: Check your email and set your password

Look for a welcome email from [email protected] in your inbox (check spam if you don't see it). Follow the link in the email to set your password and activate your account. In case the link has expired you can follow the steps here

Step 2: Download the SkillCat app

SkillCat training is completed through the mobile app. Download the SkillCat app on your phone or tablet from the App Store or Google Play Store, then log in using the email address and password you just set up.

Step 3: What you'll see on your home screen

After logging in, you'll land on your home screen. Depending on what your admin has set up, you may see:

  • A learning plan already assigned to you — tap it to start training right away.

  • The full SkillCat course catalog — browse and start any available course.

Your 90-Day Access Window

As an EPA trainee, you have 90 days of access from the date you were added to the dashboard. During this time you can take courses, track your progress, and earn certifications.

⚠️ Important: If your 90-day window expires, you will lose the ability to continue training — but your progress and completed certifications are never deleted. If you need more time, ask your admin to extend your access. For more information, see: Understanding the 90-Day Access Window.

Tips for getting started

  • Make sure you're logging in with the same email address your admin used to add you — using a different email will take you to a free trial account, not your company plan.

  • If you didn't receive your welcome email, check your spam folder or ask your admin to resend your login credentials.

  • If you're having trouble logging in, reach out to your admin or email [email protected].
