Adding a trainee to your EPA dashboard gives them 90 days of access to complete their EPA training on SkillCat. The process is the same as adding any employee to your SkillCat dashboard.

Before you begin

To add trainees to your EPA dashboard, you'll need:

  • A SkillCat Admin dashboard with an active EPA plan

  • An admin or super admin seat assigned to you

If you don't have a company account with us yet, reach out to us at [email protected].

Add a trainee individually

  1. Click the Add Employees button.

  3. Enter the trainee's First Name, Last Name, and Email address.

  4. Click Add Employees in the bottom right.

  5. (Optional) Assign a region or learning plan, or skip these steps.

Once added, the trainee will automatically receive a welcome email from [email protected] with instructions to set their password and download the SkillCat app.

Add multiple trainees at once (bulk upload)

  1. Click the Add Employees button and select the Upload a CSV tab.

What happens after they're added?

Once a trainee is added to the EPA dashboard:

  • Their account is automatically created and they receive a welcome email. Here is what they will see when they login

  • Their 90-day access window begins immediately — encourage them to log in and start training as soon as possible.

  • You can track their progress from your dashboard under View Employees.

To learn more about how the 90-day window works, see: Understanding the 90-Day Access Window.

Tips

  • Always use the email address the trainee will log in with. If they use a different email, they won't be covered by your company plan.

  • Let trainees know to check their spam folder if they don't receive the welcome email.

  • If a trainee doesn't receive their invite, you can resend it from your dashboard. See: How do I resend login credentials.
