Best Practices for Enrolling Learners in Tech Builder/ Select Program

Written by Simran Phulwani

To ensure a smooth experience for both you and your learners, it’s important to follow a few key steps when assigning learners to the Tech Builder program.

Steps to Follow (Tech Builder)

  1. Enroll learners into Level 1 only
When adding learners, always start them in Level 1. Do not enroll learners into Levels 2, 3, or 4.

  2. Let the system handle progression
As learners complete each level and their progress check is approved, the next level will unlock automatically. No manual action is needed to move them forward.

  3. Allow learners to complete all levels through progression
This ensures they follow the correct learning path without duplication or skipped content.

  4. After Level 4 is completed and approved

    • The learner’s program status updates to Completed

    • A certificate is generated automatically

  5. Mark the learner as inactive
Once the learner has completed the program, set their status to Inactive to keep your dashboard clean and up to date and to stop billing for that learner.

💡 Summary

  • Start with Level 1

  • Progression is automatic once progress check is complete

  • No need to assign higher levels manually

  • Mark learners inactive after completion

Steps to Follow (Select)

  1. Enroll learners into one curriculum at a time. When adding learners, always start them in one curriculum. This reduces the financial impact and reduces confusion for your learners.

Note: It is common practice to enroll the Trade Soft Skills Curriculum at the same time as their technical content.

  2. Let the system handle progression. As learners complete each section, the next will unlock automatically. No manual action is needed to move them forward.

  3. After the curriculum exam is completed and approved:

    • The learner's program status updates to Completed

    • A certificate is generated automatically

  4. Mark the learner as inactive. Once the learner completes the program, enroll them in the next chosen curriculum or set their status to Inactive to keep your dashboard clean and up to date.
