Does Assigning a New Learning Plan Reset Employee Progress?

No, assigning a new learning plan does not reset an employee’s progress. Their previous progress remains saved, and they can always continue from where they left off. When you assign a new learning plan, it simply adds the new content to their training schedule without affecting their ongoing progress.

If an employee wants to resume their previous training, they can do so easily. They should:

  1. Go to the main Home tab.

  2. Click on Continue Training.

  3. View all their ongoing learning plans and select the one they wish to continue.

Additionally, as an employer, you can track their progress across all assigned learning plans. To do this:

  1. Login to SkillCat Dashboard using your credentials

  2. Click on "Go to Training Dashboard"

  3. Click on "View Employees"

  4. Locate the employee’ whose training you would like to track. (you can use the search bar for quick navigation)

  5. Click on the down arrow next to a learning plan.

  6. Select the learning plan you want to review.

  7. The progress for that learning plan would be shown on the right side.
